Potager Mont Rouge – Strawberry Picking

Le Potager Mont Rouge is offering several self-picking fruits and veggies from their field, such as strawberries, sweet corns, tomatoes, apples and pumpkins. Great for families, enjoy a picnic near the apple trees, a playground with a giant trampoline and a mini-farm. We had fun picking strawberries and of course, the tractor ride! The views of the surrounding hills of Mont Rouge are very charming.

Drive about 45 minutes, east of Montreal

Opening hours: 7 days a week, 8am to 6pm

Entry fees: Free entry. For the strawberry picking, pay before at the boutique for the size of bucket (small or large) and head for the field.

Boutique: Local products, doughnuts, apple juice, fruits and veggies.

Outdoor picnic tables available near the boutique and the playground.

Entry to the potager, free parking is available.

Next to the boutique is the giant trampoline, playground, slides and a cute water pump duck race. The kids loved the trampoline!

In order to reach the strawberry field you can either walk or take the tractor. The tractor ride was a big sucess with the kids. Don’t forget to pay at the boutique and show the receipt with the staff at the field. On our visit, the staff also accepted payment at the field.

The mini farm is located just behind the boutique with hens, rabbits, donkey and alpaca.

There is also a mini maze which was not open yet, should be ready for the apple picking season towards September.
