Terre des bisons farm is great for kids to learn about the bison and elks in North America. Discover the history of the bison in the discovery center, watch the animals from close proximity while hiking 1.2km around the large farm.

Entry fees (trail and the wild game discovery center): $10 per adult, $6 kids age 6-12, kids under 6 free. Guided tours are available with an additional fee.
Suitable for an all-terrain baby stroller
This is the entry to the farm, pay at the shop the entry fees and head for the discovery center (interpretational center). The discovery center is a small museum about the history of the bison in North America, how these were hunted by the first nations and the trade with their fur and meat. Information is available both in French and English.
Discover hidden bones in the sand:
The starting point of the trail is in front of the shop and the parking, a simple 1.2km circling the farm and land of bison and few elks.
Part of the trail was still covered in snow when we visited (early May).

On the way back home (40 mins from Terre des Bisons – towards Montreal), we stopped by Fromagerie la Suisse Normande, a dairy farm and a shop (goat and cow milk products). We were allowed to visit the animals.
